    Products Description

Need a compact, maintenance-free vacuum source for automated gripping or material handling?

Guanjiang's Pneumatic Vacuum Generator (Vacuum Ejector) converts compressed air energy into vacuum pressure through the Venturi principle. With no moving parts, it offers exceptional reliability and requires no electricity — making it ideal for explosive environments. Achieving up to 99% vacuum levels with instantaneous response (<1 second), it's the perfect choice for robotic gripping, packaging automation, and electronics manufacturing.

    Key Advantages

    No Moving Parts

Maintenance-free operation — no moving parts eliminates mechanical wear and failure points. Capable of continuous operation with stable performance. Resistant to harsh environments and temperature variations.

    Instantaneous Response

Vacuum generation typically <1 second. High cycling capability for frequent operations. Optimized energy conversion with minimal air consumption — achieves up to 99% vacuum levels.

    No Heat / No Sparks

No heat generation or spark risk — suitable for explosive environments (ATEX). Oil-free operation ensures clean vacuum supply. Lower noise levels compared to mechanical vacuum pumps.

    Lower Initial Investment

Lower initial investment than electric vacuum pumps. Reduced maintenance costs and downtime. Energy-efficient operation through optimized air consumption.

    Compact and Lightweight

Space-saving structure for integration into compact equipment. Lightweight construction reduces structural support requirements. Modular design supports flexible installation.

    Single or Multi-Stage

Single-stage for general applications. Multi-stage for higher vacuum levels (up to 99%).

    No Electricity Required

Operates solely on compressed air — ideal for facilities with limited electrical access or explosion-proof requirements.

    How It Works (Venturi Principle)

Compressed air flows through a specially designed nozzle, creating high-speed airflow. This creates a low-pressure zone (vacuum) at the suction port due to the Venturi effect. The device consists of three main components:

    1️⃣ Compressed Air Inlet

Supplies driving air (0.4-0.6 MPa) to the nozzle.

    2️⃣ Vacuum Port

Creates negative pressure for gripping or suction.

    3️⃣ Exhaust Outlet

Discharges compressed air after passing through the nozzle.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: How does a vacuum generator differ from a mechanical vacuum pump?

A: Vacuum generators have no moving parts, operate on compressed air (Venturi principle), are compact and lightweight, maintenance-free, and ideal for point-of-use automation. Mechanical vacuum pumps (e.g., rotary vane) have moving parts, require electricity, need regular maintenance (oil changes), and are larger. Vacuum generators are preferred for pick-and-place, gripping, and cleanroom applications.

Q2: What vacuum level can be achieved?

A: Single-stage generators achieve up to 85% vacuum (-85 kPa). Multi-stage generators achieve up to 99% vacuum (-99 kPa). Multi-stage is recommended for porous materials (e.g., cardboard, foam) or applications requiring maximum holding force. Higher vacuum levels require more compressed air consumption.

Q3: Does the generator require lubrication?

A: No. Vacuum generators are oil-free devices — they do not require any lubrication. In fact, introducing oil into the compressed air supply can damage the generator and contaminate the vacuum system. Use clean, dry, filtered compressed air (5μm filtration recommended).

Q4: Can the generator be used for continuous vacuum applications?

A: Yes. Vacuum generators can operate continuously — but note that they constantly consume compressed air while running. For continuous applications, consider vacuum generators with energy-saving features (Eco-mode) or size the generator appropriately to balance performance and air consumption.

Q5: What is the expected service life of a vacuum generator?

A: With clean, dry, filtered compressed air, vacuum generators typically last 5-10 years or >50 million cycles. Since there are no moving parts, the main failure mode is nozzle wear from contaminated air. Always install an air filter (5μm) upstream of the generator to maximize service life.
